ABOVE average stayer Scream Machine is set to add to his impressive record at Rosehill Gardens this weekend when he lines-up in the ATC Greg Houston Plumbing Handicap (1900m).
The first-crop son of Excites has made the trip across from Warwick Farm on five previous occasions leaving with two wins and three placings.
Scream Machine was rewarded for his close-up second in the Goulburn Cup last month with a last to first win in last Saturday’s Blackwood’s Uvex Saftey Handicap (2000m).
The Jason Coyle trained gelding has already won over $210,000 and will add first prize of $48,750 plus a $20,000 BOBS top-up.
Meanwhile in Melbourne tonight, promising Excites gelding Greenedge returns to racing in the MVRC Mitchelton Wines Handicap (1200m).
Trained by Team Hawkes, the four-year-old won two of his first five starts as well as a fourth placing at Flemington.
