DUBLEO gelding Twin Zero ran right up his two outstanding barrier trials in the lead-up to a winning return at Coonamble on Cup day last Sunday.
The Leon Davies trained gelding was backed into $3.20 favourite off a couple of portentous trial wins over 1000m by a combined margin of 7.3-lens.
Twin Zero was beautifully ridden in his comeback assignment by Hannah Martin who let rip down the centre of the Coonamble track mid-stretch to surge past the others and race on to am emphatic 2-lens win.
Foaled in 2007, Twin Zero is out of a mare by Vettori and closely related to Blue Diamond Stakes winner, Road To Success.
