PROMISING More Than Ready two-year-old Mahisara looks set to breakthrough for a much deserved stakes win for the Kia Ora Syndicate when he tackles the BRC Centenary Classic (1400m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The Paul Messara trained colt was sent straight to Brisbane after a dominant win at the midweeks late last month.
Mahisara more than measured up in the big leagues with consecutive placings in the Group 2 BRC Sires Produce Stakes and the Listed Dalrello Stakes where he was beaten by a nose.
Part owned by a close neighbour of Vinery in Kia Ora Stud, Mahisara may be the first leg of a unique double as they part own another More Than Ready 2yo aiming for Stakes success in W.A.
Emerging 3yo colt Manahara will run in the Listed Belmont Guineas hoping to be the second More Than Ready Stakes winner for Kia Ora.
