Born in February, the U.S bred MORE Than Ready two-year-old Juliet’s Princess (USA) may have surprised punters with her $26 win but there was no doubting her ability in the wake of her stylish debut effort in today’s Allan Scott Park Handicap (1050m) at Morphettville.
The Leon Macdonald/Andrew Gluyas trained filly finished second last in her only public trial at the venue in the lead-up to today’s race but had obviously made tremendous progress in between appearances.
Juliet’s Princess is owned by prominent SA identity Kerry O’Brien and races in his familiar black and lime silks.
Born 4/02/2009 the young American filly is out of a mare by Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch named Malayan Princess.
