ULTRA consistent mare There’s Only One strives to become her sire, Testa Rossa’s 42nd stakeswinner when she tackles the VRC Winter CHampionship Final (1600m) at Flemington.

The Peter Moody trained four-year-old has won 8 times in her 17 starts including her last two appearances, the most recent of which at Victorian racing HQ on June 23.

There’s Only One will be joined by another Testa Rossa offspring – Sophrosyne, who sports the famous red, white and green of his six-times G1 winning sire.

Sophrosyne, trained on the track by Michael Moroney, finished third behind There’s Only One when they clashed in the preliminary heat last month.

“Testa Rossa son Over Quota won the Summer Championship Final and it looks like Peter Moody’s mare might win the Winter Championship,  which goes to show that Testa is a horse for all seasons!,” Vinery’s Conor Phelan remarked.
