RED Ransom two-year-old Fuddle Dee Duddle’s comfortable Ascot win over the weekend serves as a timely reminder of her ill-fated sire, Red Ransom’s, extraordinary stud career.

The WA filly is from the second to last crop of Red Ransom’s.   His last crop are appearing at the 2012 Australian Easter Yearling sale, which starts in Sydney on Tuesday.

Fuddle Dee Duddle has won three of her seven outings with two minor placings as well as a recent fourth in the Group 2 WATC Karrakatta Plate (1200m).

Red Ransom was the foundation sire at Vinery and has delivered more than 100 stakeswinners around the globe.

He is a highly effective sire of sires, in fact his only Group 1 winning 2YO – Onemorenomore – is a valued member of the Vinery Stud roster having covered over 130 mares in both season at stud to date.

Onemorenomore’s first crop weanlings are set to make an impression at the Gold Coast Weanling Sale in the coming month.
