A PERFECTLY Ready half sister to Group One winning sprinter Vonusti sold for $120,000 on day one of the New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Yearling sale at Karaka yesterday.
The filly, consigned by Nick King’s Brighthill Farm home to Perfectly Ready, was Lot 9 in the sale and the first opportunity buyers had to secure one of the More Than Ready son’s foals in 2011.
“It was no wonder the filly was popular,” says Vinery Stud’s Adam White, “Perfectly Ready is the leading first season sire in New Zealand with five winners and three stakes placegetters. His first progeny sold for up to $290,000 last year and everyone who bought one must be very encouraged with the start that the stallion has made.
