Kentucky-bred mare Magic Broomstick notched a well deserved major when she came from deep in the pack to take out the Listed Avowal Stakes (1400m-turf) at Woodbine.
Prior to her breakthrough triumph, Magic Broomstick has raced 13 times for 5 wins and 5 placings including in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes and Listed River Memories Stakes, twice.
