Quality four-year-old Headwater mare London’s Image secured her third stakes victory when unleashing a powerful late surge to claim a determined last-stride win over race favourite Talkanco in Sunday’s Listed Pinjarra Classic (1300m). A graduate of the Vinery draft at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale, her latest black-type success further reinforces the strength and performance profile of mares presented by Vinery Stud.

Rising from humble beginnings when initially purchased for just $20,000 by Ryan Hill at the 2023 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, London’s Image quickly developed into one of Western Australia’s most consistent and accomplished mares. She added Sunday’s feature to previous stakes victories in the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes and WA Breeders Classic, along with multiple black-type placings, before being re-offered by Vinery at the 2025 Chairman’s Sale. There, she was secured for $360,000 by Cameron Cooke Bloodstock, another result highlighting the sale’s reputation as a proven source of elite racetrack performers and high-value breeding prospects.

Now racing in the colours of the Ultra Horse Syndicate and trained by leading W.A. duo Grant and Alana Williams, London’s Image has advanced her record to six wins and eight placings from 21 starts, with prizemoney exceeding $580,000.

Hailing from one of WA’s best families, London’s Image is the only Stakeswinner from More Than Ready mare, New Image and is one of nineteen Stakes Horses for Vinery’s son of Exceed And Excel, Headwater.
