STALLION HANDLER
The 2026 breeding season marks an exciting new chapter at Vinery Stud, with the addition of three new stallions to our dynamic roster, headlined by Ole Kirk, All Too Hard, and now Farnan. As a long-standing and highly respected farm, we are seeking experienced stallion handlers to join our team for the 2026 season.
The role will involve:
- all aspects of horse husbandry such as feeding, grooming and assisting with veterinary and farrier work.
- parading stallions for clients and visitors.
- general routine breeding procedures and daily duties required in the stallion barn.
The successful applicant:
- requires previous experience with thoroughbreds and excellent horse handling skills.
- will possess the ability to work well within a team.
- display positive and encouraging behaviour.
- will be punctual and reliable.
For the right applicants, flights and visa costs will be covered, and accommodation is provided. The farm is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone, offering access to boutique shops, sporting clubs, restaurants, and nearby wineries.
