On behalf of Vinery’s partners and staff, we send our deepest condolences to the family of Ananda Krishnan Tatparanandam following his passing on Thursday.

A passionate and significant contributor to the Australian Racing and Breeding industry, Mr. Krishnan will be remembered not only for his contributions to the industry but also for the elite bloodlines he has developed through his partnership with Vinery Stud and ownership of Kia Ora Stud.

An inspirational leader, Mr. Krishnan was a generous supporter of the community and a friend to many who will be missed.

While nearing the completion of his first season at stud, Hawaii Five Oh is still the perfect gentleman with a great mind that Gai recalls having in her stables.

Where are they now post Melbourne Cup? Amelie’s Star (Testa Rossa) returned to her birthplace after running in the 2017 Melbourne Cup to become a mother. This season she welcomed a lovely Anamoe filly to the Vinery paddocks.

A very special mare to her owners, all of her progeny have been retained by her breeder to race in the same silks as the multiple Group winner. Her dam Zazita is also still a resident at Vinery enjoying her retirement from breeding since 2022.
