The position on offer is for yearling preparation team members with the following skills/characteristics:

• Previous experience with yearling preparation and sales presentation will be highly regarded.
• Integrity, passion, and enthusiasm with a ‘can do’ approach.
• The proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

We currently have an opportunity for a reliable and motivated person to join our passionate and professional team in the role of Stallion Handler for the 2024 breeding season. In this exciting position you will work with Vinery’s elite stallion roster, in a world-class facility, with opportunity to grow within the role and business.

The role will involve:

• all aspects of horse husbandry such as feeding, grooming and assisting with veterinary and farrier work.
• parading stallions for clients and visitors.
• general routine breeding procedures and daily duties required in the stallion barn.

The successful applicant:

• will possess the ability to work well within a team.
• display positive and encouraging behaviour.
• will be punctual and reliable.
• possess excellent horse handling skills.
