CLEANER (30hrs/week)

Vinery Stud, one of Australia’s leading thoroughbred farms, is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. This is a key role in helping us maintain our historic Homestead and key facilities to the highest standard — ensuring they’re always ready to welcome clients and guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Keeping the Historic Vinery Homestead clean, tidy and beautifully presented — ready at a moment’s notice
  • Occasional weekend cleans when guests arrive or depart
  • Washing and ironing linens
  • Weekly checks of electrical appliances in the Homestead
  • Cleaning the main office, function room, and kitchenettes in our barns
  • Detailing of company vehicles from time to time

What We’re Looking For:

  • A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
  • Someone reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality is a plus
  • A warm, can-do attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team

STALLION HANDLER

Vinery Stud, a premier thoroughbred nursery located in the picturesque Hunter Valley is currently searching for a person to join our passionate and professional team in the role of Stallion Handler ahead of the 2025 breeding season. In this exciting position you will work with Vinery’s elite stallion roster, including Ole Kirk, Exceedance, All Too Hard, etc., in a world-class facility, with the opportunity to grow within the role and business.

The role will involve:

  • all aspects of horse husbandry such as feeding, grooming and assisting with veterinary and farrier work.
  • parading stallions for clients and visitors.
  • general routine breeding procedures and daily duties required in the stallion barn.

The successful applicant:

  • requires previous experience with thoroughbreds and excellent horse handling skills.
  • will possess the ability to work well within a team.
  • display positive and encouraging behaviour.
  • will be punctual and reliable.

Vinery Stud is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone NSW, which offers many boutique shops, sporting clubs, restaurants and nearby wineries. A competitive remuneration package will be provided based on the applicant’s experience.
