YEARLING PREPARATION STAFF

Vinery Stud, a leading thoroughbred nursery, is currently seeking reliable and self-motivated individuals to join our passionate and professional team for the yearling sale season. We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone, at the heart of the Australian thoroughbred breeding industry. The picturesque Hunter Valley offers boutique shops, sporting clubs, restaurants, and nearby wineries.

We are looking for yearling preparation team members with the following skills and qualities:

  • Previous experience in yearling preparation and sales presentation is desired but not required.
  • Integrity, passion, and enthusiasm with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • The ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.

 Successful candidates will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop horsemanship skills.
  • Work with quality horses as part of a top-class team.
  • Build valuable industry connections and relationships.
  • Attend major yearling sales across Australia, with accommodation, travel, and a generous sales allowance provided.
  • Commence on a mutually agreed start date, with the potential for permanent employment following the sale season.
