More Than Ready Group 1 winner Perfect Reflection has transferred to Darren Weir for the Melbourne autumn carnival.

Perth trainer Grant Williams prepared the filly for wins at each of her last five starts culminating in the G1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) at Ascot. “Perfect Reflection has been back in work since December 27,” owner-breeder Bob Peters said. “She had three weeks off and did really well and we are very happy with her.

“We have a big team coming up for feature races at Ascot and it makes it too hard for Grant to be away in Melbourne.

“When I called Darren, he didn’t take much convincing to train her,” Peters added. “She arrived there last Friday and has already settled in at Ballarat.”

Perfect Reflection (3f More Than Ready – Reflected Image by Bluebird) is unbeaten after making a winning debut at Pinjarra on September 2. She won at Belmont second-up and then kept raising the bar at Ascot in the LR Belgravia Stakes, G3 Champion Fillies and G1 Kingston Town.

Her Melbourne campaign will consist of two starts at Flemington – G3 Vanity Stakes (1400m) on February 20 and G1 Australian Guineas (1600m) on March 5.

Weir is also prepping last-start Magic Millions Cup winner Lucky Hussler for the G1 Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on February 13.  The son of Vinery sire Husson broke through for his first Group 1 win in the MVRC William Reid Stakes during last year’s Melbourne autumn carnival.
