Vinery Stud has set their Service Fees for the 2011 Season, headed by the all conquering More Than Ready.

Already achieving Champion Sire of 2yo’s in Australia, More Than Ready added the Champion 2yo Sire of the U.S.A last season. To be a Champion Sire in both hemispheres is a feat very few stallions achieve, the last to do so was the great Danehill, a stallion who continues to have such a tremendous influence worldwide.

“We believe the Vinery 2011 Stallion Roster continues to provide high quality proven and emerging young stallions with a variety of bloodlines to best suit our broodmare bands and offer breeders every opportunity for a fair return,” said Peter Orton.

“Our proven sires, More Than Ready, Testa Rossa and Mossman continue to produce high quality horses whilst our young stallions in Excites, Dubleo and Benicio are gaining serious momentum as their horses hit the tracks.

New to Vinery this season is Congrats – the 2010 Champion First Season Sire of the U.S.A. By one of the great sire of sires in A.P. Indy, Congrats produced a multitude of winners from his first crop last year including two individual Gr.1 winners amongst 15 Stakes performers.

“Proven stallions are the essence of what makes up a stallion roster and it takes time and class for any stallion to achieve this. To have been able to acquire a stallion of the caliber of Congrats is most exciting; he is the most magnificent looking stallion and as a result has produced high quality stock”.

“It is with great anticipation we await the arrival of the first foals of Onemorenomore and Big Brown, two extremely exciting stallions who last season received the very best of mares to kick off their respective stud careers.  The quality first crop of Myboycharlie certainly did not disappoint last year.  Widely regarded as producing consistently good foals, Myboycharlie has ensured he’ll be well supported yet again this season.
