CHAMPION mare Typhoon Tracy bagged her fourth consecutive Group One win racing away to claim the aptly named STC Queen of the Turf Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill this afternoon.

The Peter Moody trained mare gave her supporters no concerns, stalking the leader before letting down with her trademark burst of acceleration in the straight to set up a 2.3 length margin.

With 10 wins from her 13 starts, Typhoon Tracy must now rank as one of the very best mares in the world and a tremendous advertisement for her sire Red Ransom.

“Typhoon Tracy’s dam, Tracy’s Element (pictured), is a permanent border here at Vinery so we are very excited for her owners John and Fumai Hutchins,” Vinery’s Adam White said.
