DUBLEO gelding Twin Zero may have earned himself a trip to town after a brilliant 2.5-lens win at Scone yesterday.

The Luke Griffith-trained gelding scored his second win in just three career starts streaking away with the Prydes Easifeed Handicap (1100m).

Twin Zero was bred by Tim Henderson who acquired his dam, Blue Lyric, for $4000 at the 2007 Scone Thoroughbred Sale.

Twin Zero’s two wins have so far netted Henderson and his partners over $22,000.

“It’s great for Tim as Twin Zero is Blue Lyric’s first foal,” Vinery’s Conor Phelan said,

“He has done well to get the mare for what he did, because she is a well bred mare. Her own dam is a sister to Condotti who won the Concorde Stakes and a three-quarter to Road To Success who won the Blue Diamond.”

“The mare returned to Dubleo this year and we’ll be looking forward to her next Dubleo as this one looks pretty good”
