EXCITES mare Minh Khai continued her red hot form this winter registering her third consecutive win at Randwick on Wednesday.

The John Steinmetz trained mare opened her sequence with a win at her home track at Warwick Farm on June 12 coming away from the rest with a soft 2.8-lens margin.

She backed that up with a second straight win at the venue over subsequent Saturday winner Madam Nash in a 2100m Bm70 two weeks later.

Her Randwick win this week was arguably her best given that she was trapped wide early on before eventually getting into the running line.

Mink Khai was able to reel in those ahead of her over the final stages of the race before surging away to post a 1.3-lens victory ahead of To Dubawi Go and another Excites 4YO namely Black Jag.

Minh Khai has won 6 of her 27 starts with 5 placing and has earnings of $119,105.

Apart from her burgeoning race record, Minh Khai’s future prospects as a broodmare are bright given that she is a grand-daughter of the influential Shaybisc.
