THE progeny of Vinery Stud’s star recruit Congrats have quickly notched up 100 wins and the stallion’s stocks continue to soar ahead of his arrival in Australia where an outstanding debut book of mare’s awaits.

The son of twice Champion USA General Sire A.P Indy is one of North America’s, and for that matter the globe’s, rising stars with a cavalcade of winners 56 from at last count reflecting a tremendous winners to runners ratio of almost 60%.

Congrats’ ‘centurion’ was no less emphatic than many of his prior winners winning over 1300m under hands and heels.  The Florida-bred filly, Cocoa’s Image, overcoming a tardy beginning to cruise home to a sensational 4-lengths win to break her maiden in fine style.

“Every time we receive a report from overseas about Congrats, invariably one of his progeny have won, or won again, often by big margins,” says Vinery Stud’s Conor Phelan.

“Things are going great for the stallion with the quality of his book in the States being raised considerably each season with his growing profile – things are only going to get better for Congrats.”
