LIGHTLY-RACED Excites gelding Time To Excite was able to make the quantum leap rom a country maiden to metro winner when he took out the ATC Bondi Pipe Freezing Handicap (1200m) at Canterbury on Friday night.

The three-year-old was kept safe in the market off the back of his two opening runs including a last start 3-lens win at his home track at Port Macquarie on the NSW mid-north coast.

Time To Excite is a member of AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner and Vinery resident Excites’ second crop.

The Jenny Graham trained gelding is one of three winners delivered by Baryshnikov daughter Winter Dreams who is descends from the family of Queensland Derby and VRC Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner, Valance.
