More Than Ready has sired his 100th individual winner for the season as he rapidly surges towards his 100th Stakes winner.

More Than Ready joined stablemate Testa Rossa with 100 season winners when the Gerry Harvey homebred Pregrada scored her maiden win on the Kensington Track.

It’s been another outstanding season for the Vinery based stallion, with flagbearer More Joyous winning four Group One races for the season among her eight victories.

She’s had a strong support cast too with Gr1 WATC Derby winning filly Dreamaway, along with the likes of More Strawberries and Elite Falls.

This Australian success is hot on the heels of More Than Ready’s best season overseas with Buster’s Ready securing the Vinery Stallion his first Gr.1 victory in the U.S as well as victory in both the colts and fillies division of the 2010 Breeder’s Cup Juvenile races.

More Than Ready has produced several Stakes winners in the last few weeks including Mahisara in Queensland and the super impressive Hungry Island in the U.S. with his current tally of 88 Stakes winners sure to increase with his best crop to date rising 2yo’s for 2012.

With most of his best horses carrying high expectations into the upcoming spring carnival, his yearlings averaging over $150,000 at major sales in high numbers, and 78 of the 119 rising 2yo’s nominated for the 2012 Golden Slipper, More Than Ready’s popularity appears in no danger.

More Than Ready is standing the 2011 season at Vinery Stud at a fee of $99,000
