LEADING trainer Chris Waller is expecting up and coming galloper Heart Testa to be in the thick of things once again when he contests the Listed ATC South Pacific Classic (1400m) at Randwick on Doncaster Day.

The son of Testa Rossa won his first four starts in impressive style before consecutive placings in the Eskimo Prince and Darby Munro Stakes.

“We’ve taken the blinkers off him because I think it will help him extend to the 1400m,” Waller said.

“He got cluttered up at a vital stage at Rosehill in what I think is a very strong form race.”

Heart Testa is aiming to become his sire’s 46th individual stakeswinner.

Later in the day, reigning Salinger Stakes winner and Testa Rossa son Fontelina is out to knock off the likes of Pierro and Shoot Out in the $2m Doncaster Mile.

Trained on the track by Anthony Cummings, Fontelina finished fifth beaten just 1.4-lens in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) behind Doncaster hot-pot Pierro last start.
