MELBOURNE – A BAY filly by Vinery Stud resident sire Excites sold for $100,000 at today’s Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at Oaklands.
Lot 350 on account of Trevannah (as agent) is from the Danehill mare Raise A Dane, herself a daughter of VRC Maribyrnong Plate and Blue Diamond Prelude – G3 winner Raise A Rhythm.
The filly was bought by the Western Australian based Yenrise Pty Ltd.
The previous highest price for the first crop of Excites was $75,000 spent on a colt from I’m A Showoff at the 2010 Magic Millions Sale in January.
