JOHN Thompson take a bow.

The Patinack Farm trainer showed all his skill as a horseman via three-year-old filly Readyor who scored a thrilling win at Randwick today having not started in exactly a year.

The daughter of twice Champion 2YO Sire More Than Ready was backed in from $7 to $4.60 rewarding fans with a gutsy half-neck win in deplorable conditions.

Readyor was purchased by Patinack boss Nathan Tinkler at the 2010 Australian Easter Broodmare sale for $520,000.

She was previously raced by well known owner/breeders Geoff and Beryl White whose colours she wore to win last year’s AJC Keith Mackay Stakes (1200m).

Readyor is bred on the fruitful More Than Ready/Danehill cross which has also delivered Group One winners Benicio and Perfectly Ready.
