SYDNEY – NEWCASTLE gelding Prince Braeman scored a sensational win in today’s Listed Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m) to keep Mossman’s superlative season rolling along.
The Paul Perry trained 5YO showed his customary speed to share the running in the $100,000 feature holding on bravely for a narrow but well earned victory.
His elevation to black-type winner comes as a just reward for his well documented consistency which saw him win four races during an epic last campaign.
Mossman has sired 31 winners already this season including the stakeswinning 3YO Love Conquers All and the stakes-placed Mafia Miss, Moama, Tee Emar and Umanugget.
Among Mossman’s other winners this season are Randwick debut 2YO winner Agister and South Australian juvenile Stirling Grove who won his first start by nine lengths at Morphettville.
