ONEMORENOMORE 2yo Say My Name steps up to 1400m when he goes around in tomorrow’s $222,000 Group 2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Flemington on a big day for our stallions.

The 2YO drew barrier 10 off at his last start in the rich Inglis Premier and was well out his ground approaching the turn but closed quickly to finish on the heels of the placegetters on a day where it paid to be handy.
Say My Name’s sire won his Group 1 at a mile with a thumping 4-lens win in the prestigious ATC Champagne Stakes where he easily accounted for the likes of Manhattan Rain and Tickets.

Say My Name is also entered for the Group 1 $1m ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) in Sydney during The Championships.

EXCITES filly Sistine Demon will be out to avenge his narrow loss in the Listed Kilmore Cup last start when he tackles the VRC Super Saturday Stakes (1400m) to close out tomorrow’s Australian Cup/Newmarket Handicap card at Flemington.

The Caulfield trained gelding put up a brave performance at Kilmore on Feb 23 leading throughout before being nabbed on the line by eventual winner Sweet As Bro.

Sistine Demon’s narrow defeat saw his earnings pass the quarter of a million mark in just 14 starts, six of which he has won.

Across in Adelaide, Excites’ Group 3 winning son Excites Zelady is guaranteed to have plenty of admirers when he resumes in the SAJC Medallion Homes Handicap (1400m).
