Vinery Stud is proud to announce the addition of the high class Group
1 winning juvenile Onemorenomore to their stallion line up for 2010.
This exciting son of Red Ransom, from one of the best families in the stud book is certainly a worthy representative of his late father.

Patinack Farm has retained a significant interest in the stallion and has committed to support the horse heavily. “He is a colt very close to my heart as he is the first Group 1 winner that we bought as a yearling” Patinack principal Nathan Tinkler explains. “This decision is part of a strategic direction for Patinack. We stand his close relative Casino Prince so we are delighted to have Onemorenomore stand close by with a farm like Vinery. It goes without saying that we will be sending some of our best mares to him.”

An individual with imposing good looks Onemorenomore was purchased by Patinack from Cressfield Stud for $800,000 at the 2008 Inglis Australian Easter yearling sale. At his first start as a two year old in the spring of 2008, he was placed in the Breeders Plate before going on in the Autumn to win the Listed AJC T L Baillieu and then dominanting the Group 1 Champagne Stakes by 4 lengths, defeating Tickets and Manhattan Rain.

As a Spring three year old Onemorenomore was placed at Group 1 level against the older horses before his untimely retirement due to an unfortunate training accident. The son of Red Ransom (USA) hails from an outstanding black type family. His dam Palia is a Group 3 winning daughter of Champion sire Last Tycoon, making her a sister to the dam of Patinack’s young Flying Spur stallion Casino Prince.

Onemorenomore’s sire Red Ransom (USA), a son of Roberto is rapidly establishing himself as a sire of sires in Australasia with the recent success of sons such as Charge Forward, sire of Headway and Golden Slipper favorite Solar Charged; Ekraar sire of this seasons Group 1 Captain Cook Stakes winner Ekstreme and first season sire Domesday, sire of impressive Flemington winner, Backgammon.

“I am delighted we have been able to secure Onemorenomore for stud duties this season”, says Vinery Stud’s General Manager Peter Orton.

“He is a magnificent looking horse who raced against and defeated some of the best two years olds in the land. He has a great pedigree that will offer many more opportunities for broodmare owners. With the loss of Red Ransom last season we were very keen to secure a son to take his place on our roster and hopefully, in the future stallion tables”.

A service fee will be announced in due course.
