VINERY Stud sire Onemorenomore played a feature role in the sale topper at this week’s Patinack Farm Unreserved Broodmare Reduction Sale held at the Gold Coast.
Midnight Ballet, the dam of Group 1 Australian Guineas winner Rock Classsic, was sold with a cracking colt by Onemorenmnore at foot and in foal to Patinack Farm’s own sire, Husson.
The daughter of Arc de Triomphe winner Peintre Celebre was knocked down for $240,000 to Coolmore Stud.
“She is a good mare and reflects the quality that Onemorenomore attracted in his first crop from shareholders and breeder’s. The market has reacted positively to Onemorenomore from the beginning,” says Vinery’s Conor Phelan.
“His first weanlings that were offered were some of the best weanlings at the National Sale here in winter selling for up to $200,000.
“Onemorenomore was an $800,000 Easter Yearling so he is obviously a grand looking horse himself and he’s passing on that quality and strength into his stock.”
