Unbeaten champion Black Caviar had her fourth foal in the Hunter Valley on Friday and the More Than Ready filly is doing well.

It was the third filly in four foals for Black Caviar, and managing owner Neil Werrett, who was at the birth, said she continued to be a great mother.

The evergreen More Than Ready currently sits in the top ten all-time Stakes producing stallions and is still covering mares at Vinery Stud in Scone and Winstar in Kentucky.

Black Caviar won the hearts of the Australian sporting public, winning all 25 of her racetrack appearances including 15 group 1s. She famously held on to win the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot in 2012, which was the highlight of her career.

She has already produced a winner on the track with her first daughter by Exceed And Excel, Oscietra, winning on debut at Geelong last month. Oscietra is in the stable of David Hayes, Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig and has been entered for a race at Flemington on Wednesday.

Black Caviar’s only colt out of Sebring, a two-year-old, is being trained by the John, Michael and Wayne Hawkes stable. She also produced a Snitzel filly last year.
