PERTH filly Moreish is line to deliver More Than Ready his second consecutive WATC Oaks win after she beat Testa Rossa stablemate Angel Rose in Saturday’s Listed WATC Natasha Stakes (2200m).

The Simon Miller trained Moriesh is following in the precise hoofsteps of last season’s WA supreme 3YO, Dreamaway, who went on to post a rare WATC Oaks/Derby double after winning the Guineas and Natasha Stakes.

Incredibly both fillies are bred in the More Than Ready/Danehill nick which helped More Than Sacred on her to victory in the Group 1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m) on March 15.

Meanwhile in Melbourne, Ready To Rip – yet another exponent of the cross – took his earnings to over $550,000 with a win in the Listed MRC Thoroughbred Club Cup (1200m) for trainer Peter Moody.
