MULTIPLE Queensland Horse of the Year Buffering is looking for that elusive Group 1 at Moonee Valley tonight while a day later in Sydney his three-quarter-blood sister Brazen Moss in out for her first win.

Buffering needs to find 4-lens if he is going to prevent Australia’s new sprint queen Samaready from adding another big race to her tally having proved no match for the daughter of More Than Ready in the Group 1 Moir last month.

Meanwhile at Rosehill on Saturday, the Gerald Ryan-trained Brazen Moss steps out for the first time in the ATC Men Of League Plate (1100m) after a rousing 2-lens win in her October 17 trial.

Brazen Moss is a $75,000 Triple Crown Syndications purchase from the 2013 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

It’s the same connections and trainer that drove Charlie Boy (by Myboycharlie) to his Group 2 win in the VRC Danehill Stakes (1200m) this spring.
