THE enormously rewarding More Than Ready/Danehill nick that is behind the success of Golden Slipper hopeful Elite Falls was to the fore again with the debut win of U.S bred Win Minerva in Japan.

Win Minerva, a USA bred daughter of Vinery’s supersire, beat 15 others to on debut at Hanshin racecourse last Sunday.

The 3YO filly is out of the Danehill mare Voodoo Lady who was stakesplaced in the America.

The More Than Ready/Danehill mix has already produced two Group 1 winners namely Benicio and leading first season NZ sire Perfectly Ready.

”There are a huge number of Danehill grand-daughters in the general population and given the success of Golden Slipper winner, Sebring who is out of a Flying Spur mare, the cross will develop in the years ahead,” says Vinery Stud’s Adam White.
