GLAMOUR 3yo All Too Hard is nearly certain to back-up in next Saturday’s prestigious Group 1 Australian Guineas (1600m) after adding today’s Group 1 MRC Futurity Stakes (1400m) to his last start in the Orr Stakes.

The half brother to world champion sprinter Black Caviar made light work of his rivals streaking away with the Futurity by a comfortable 3 1/4-lens ahead of Group One winner’s Glass Harmonium ($18) and last year’s winner King Mufhasa ($5.50) half a neck away third.
”When he was coming to the corner with a lapful of horse you knew they were in trouble,” co-trainer Wayne Hawkes said.

All Too Hard’s latest victory sees him emulate the feats of the immortal Manikato who was also able to complete the Caulfield Guineas, Orr Stakes and Futurity grand slam.
The future Vinery Stud stallion has now claimed three Group 1 wins from his past four starts including a neck second in the Cox Plate.

Hawkes said the colt was working his way into the elite class.
“He’s not the elite yet but he’s certainly heading towards it, that’s for sure and certain” he said.
“We’re pretty level-headed and let the horse do the talking. But his form is pretty good. You can’t do much more than he’s doing at the moment.”
