Makybe Diva will be covered by Vinery Stud’s four time Group One winner and first-season sire All Too Hard this year.

All Too Hard (Casino Prince) bowed out of racing with a powerful G1 victory in the All Aged Stakes at Randwick in April.  He had claimed the G1 Caulfield Guineas in October.

All Too Hard is a half-brother to Black Caviar and by Champion First Season Sire 11/12 and Champion Second Season Sire Casino Prince.  He was a $1,025,000 graduate of the 2011 Inglis Easter yearling sale.  He will serve a full book at Vinery for a $66,000 (inc gst) service fee.

Makybe Diva (Desert King) missed to Sepoy last year.  Her 2007 foal Rockstardom (Galileo) is her only winner to date.  He scored at Bendigo and Cranbourne last season for Danny O’Brien but has since moved stables to Chris Waller.

Her 2008 foal La Dolce Diva (Fusaichi Pegasus) was unplaced in four starts and is due to deliver her first foal by Stratum in September.

Makybe Diva’s current 4yo Coaster (Encosta de Lago) was sent to France in August 2012 and was unplaced at his only run to date.

The Melbourne Cup legend’s 2yo colt Taqneen (Lonhro) is being trained by David Hayes for Sheikh Hamdan and her yearling is a colt by High Chaparral.
