US triple Gr1-winner and Vinery Stud stallion Big Brown recorded his 6th individual winner when 2YO filly Lovely Daughter scored by 4-lengths on debut.

Tracking from the box seat early, the well backed 2yo made a nifty rail-skimming move on the turn and took off en route to an auspicious four-length victory for Hall of Fame Trainer and co-owner Jerry Hollendorfer at California’s Golden Gate Fields on Sunday.

A $22,000 yearling at 2011 Keeneland September Sales, Lovely Daughter (Big Brown-Bobbie Use, by Not For Love) was well backed to start a heavy favourite and always looked to have the field covered on debut. The next start for the impressive filly is yet to be confirmed.

Big Brown (Boundary-Mien, by Nureyev) will return to Vinery Australia in 2013 after suffering a minor paddock injury which precluded him from making the journey in 2012.
