JUST a day after Vinery Stud announced they had taken control of exciting young sires Husson and Casino Prince, up came another impressive winner for one of the pair.

In this case it was Husson, whose first-crop son Caballo Rapido came away to post an emphatic win at Ipswich over the 1690m.

Trained at Eagle Farm by David Murphy, Caballo Rapido, debuted with a soft win at his home track in May last year in the BRC Sky Racing B’stock Bonus Maiden (1200m).

Caballo Rapido – whose name translates as `fast horse’ – is one of 57 Australian bred sired by Husson alongside the likes of Gimcrack Stakes winner Hussousa, Lucky Hussler, Affable, The Huntress and the boom filly Peron.

Caballo Rapido is out of a Danehill mare whose previous foals include the Mossman stakes performer Mossriver who was third in the Group 3 BRC Vo Rogue Plate (1350m).
