FOR the second year in succession, Vinery Stud resident Tracy’s Element was named Champion Broodmare at last night’s Hunter Valley Thoroughbred Breeders Association Annual Awards ceremony.
Tracy’s Element is owned by John Hutchins who also received the Champion Racehorse award on behalf of his four-times Group One winner, Typhoon Tracy (by Red Ransom).
The night was also a memorable one for Vinery Stud’s general manager Peter Orton whose contribution to the industry was recognised when he received the President’s Award.
Vinery Stud would like to extend our congratulations to all award recipients, particularly Peter, who continues to be one of the most respected men in the industry.
