BOOM galloper Love Conquers All has likely earned himself a trip to Brisbane for a late carnival tilt after his rousing win in today’s Listed AJC June Stakes (1100m) at Royal Randwick.

Love Conquers all was the first leg of a two state Stakes double for Vinery Stallion, Mossman.

Sporting the famous Might and Power colours of owner Nick Moraitis, Love Conquers All showed all of his famous forerunners determination to reel in and pass former WA sensation Hay List to score by three-quarters of a length.

“He is a lovely horse and he is really going somewhere,” winning jockey Jim Cassidy said.

“He took a while to get balanced but then he knuckled down over the last 100 metres and was too strong.”

Team Hawkes spokesman Michael Hawkes said there was a chance Love Conquers All could head to Queensland for the Group Three WJ Healy Stakes (1200m) in two weeks.

“We never make decisions on race day but there is the race in Brisbane in two weeks,” he told AAP.

“Or we might just give him a break and get him ready for the spring.”

Mossman’s extraordinary season has won him numerous fans in breeding circles and Love Conquers All was one leg of a Stakes double for the son of Success Express as 2yo Parriwi, already at the Brisbane Carnival, won a Stkes race becoming Mossman’s fifth individual Stakes winner this season.

Vinery Stud this week announced that his book for the upcoming 2010 season was now full.
