All Too Hard set the Melbourne Premier Sale alight on Tuesday with a $500,000 filly purchased by agent Justin Bahen on behalf of Hong Kong owner Mr Little Hung.

She is the top-priced filly through the Oaklands sale-ring and also the top-priced yearling to sell on Day 3.

The All Too Hard – Fuhrnatic (Langfuhr) filly received a late update when her older half-sister Fuhryk (Star Witness) won the Group 3 Kevin Hayes Stakes at Caulfield on February 11.

Bahen indicated the filly will be trained by Team Hawkes.  “John liked her as much as I did,” Bahen said.  “She’s a lovely filly and is a half-sister to a very good horse.

“I’ve got faith in All Too Hard.  It’s only February and they’re already up and running.  They will starting coming through from now onwards and as three year-olds.

“She has enormous residual value but we’ve bought her first and foremost to be a racehorse.”

Team Hawkes trained All Too Hard and have purchased numerous yearlings from his first two crops conceived at Vinery Stud.  Their well-bred colt Reflectivity is due to debut in Race 1 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Reflectivity was beaten a nose at his only start in the Golden Gift at Rosehill in November.  He has opened a $4.20 favourite to win first-up with the TAB.

All Too Hard’s top-priced colt at the Melbourne Premier sold for $200,000 on Monday.  Purchased by Tony McEvoy, he is from Moonee Valley winner Skye Gold (Galileo) who is a half-sister to Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview winner Bardego.
