TESTA Rossa is now just three new winners away from posting an incredible milestone 500 winners after the Gary Portelli trained Hoodoo Guru walked in at Kembla on Thursday.

Hoodoo Guru made light work of his rivals in the Mt. Warrigal Maiden Plate (1200m) dashing away under his 59kg to score an emphatic 2.3-lens win.

The gelding was bred by Vinery Stud partner Greg Perry and sold to bloodstock agent and current Magic Millions managing director Vin Cox for $210,000 in 2010.

It has been also been a big week for Testa Rossa away from the track with esteemed daughter Pane In The Glass sold for $500,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare sale on the Gold Coast.

Pane In the Glass is one of 46 stakeswinners sired by Testa Rossa and won just shy of $700,000 during a glittering career highlighted by a win in the Group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes and placings in the final two legs of the autumn 2YO Triple Crown namely the ATC Sires’ Produce and Champagne Stakes.
