ADELAIDE – Local mare Augusta Proud’s win in today’s Group Three SAJC R.N Irwin Stakes (1100m) revives memories of her Magic Millions win on this day two years ago.
A former star juvenile, Augusta Proud won the Adelaide Magic Millions before adding the Gold Coast Magic Millions Classic a fortnight later.
Today’s Group Three event is the fourth Stakes win for the Leon Macdonald trained 4yo mare.
