DUBLEO mare Isabella Maree turned a narrow last start loss into her fifth career victory and Dubleo’s fifth individual winner this week.

With many NSW meeting’s abondoned due to relentless rain it was left to his progeny in the west to complete another amazing week for Dubleo that had already included a winning double at the Grafton Carnival and others at Wyong, Tamworth and now Belmont.

With 50 winners from only 84 starters it is clear Dubleo is a sire that gets winners.  Not bad for a stallion with foal crops averaging only 45.  This is set to change with the Stakes producing sire covering over 120 good mares last season.

Isabella Maree is from the same first crop of Dubleo progeny that boasts the Vinery owned triple stakeswinner, Dubleanny.
The Bunbury local was never headed on Wednesday running out a convincing winner over 1200m at Belmont in Perth.  It was a welcome return for the typically consistent Dubleo mare after finishing 0.2-lens second at the same venue two weeks prior.

Isabella Maree’s all the way triumph was the fifth of her career which also inlcludes a win at sister-track Ascot during her previous campaign.
This mare is a close relative of iron horse Warrior Trader as the Group placed Fellowship, herself a daughter of former Vinery resident and Golden Slipper sire, Success Express.

Isabella Maree was bought by her current owners for $20,000 at the Magic Millions Yearling sale in Perth and has already banked over three times that amount with the promise of more to come.
