MYBOYCHARLIE two-year-old Charles In Charge delivered his freshman sire another highlight this season when taking out the SAJC Adelaide Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) at Morphettville today.

The Anthony Freedman galloper carried punters hopes in the $100,000 feature after posting an impressive 1.3-lens debut win at Sandown on February 27.

Just as he did on that occasion Charles In Charge’s superior tactical speed allowed jockey Craig Williams to control the race from the top of the straight, clearing out for another emphatic win.

Charles In Charge’s victory is another coup for his sire, former French 2YO Group 1 winner and Champion Colt Myboycharlie, who has made a considerable impact in his first year at stud.

Apart from Charles in Charge, the Prix Morny hero has also sired leading Golden Slipper contender Charlie Boy as well as the Group 2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes runner-up, Charlestown.
