All Too Hard sired his 13th juvenile winner of the season when Fearless Girl received a perfect ride from Grant Buckley at Wyong on Saturday.
In a performance that matched her name, Fearless Girl cut the corner and then burst through a gap to win the Just Conveyors Maiden Hcp (1200m) by a half-length from Godolphin filly Loveseat. She was racing first-up since wilting on debut at Randwick in December.
The Gai Waterhouse-Adrian Bott trained youngster was expected to go well fresh after pleasing the stable at home. “She’s a gorgeous filly and we’ve been very happy with her,” Gai tweeted. “Our senior track rider Steve O’Halloran said she’s very professional and Rachel (King) said she was doing everything right.”
Fearless Girl (2f All Too Hard – Daly River by General Nediym) is the first winner from an unraced half-sister to Group winners Saint Encosta, Kittens and Sheer Talent. She is raced in partnership by Claire Bibby and the Fearless Girl syndicate along with Gerry Harvey who kept a share after selling her through the Baramul Stud draft for $110,000 at the 2017 Gold Coast Magic Millions.
Harvey is expecting another All Too Hard foal from Daly River in August.
An immediate success at Vinery Stud, All Too Hard has climbed up the Australian 2YO table with 5 individual winners in the last 10 days. He’s just one behind Sebring and Exceed And Excel for a share of Top 5 spot on the premiership.
All Too Hard has been just as effective on the Australian 3YO winners table. Champion sire Snitzel (73) leads that ladder from All Too Hard (58), Fastnet Rock (56) and I Am Invincible (55).
On those stats alone, All Too Hard represents superb value for a $33,000 service fee at Vinery this year.
