Vinery’s resident Group One winning 2YO, Excites(by Danewin ex Staging) has kept his first crop record of perfection intact – 3 runners, 3 winners with the latest win by promising youngster, Stirring Emotion.

The Brent Thompson trained Mudgee galloper joins Excites first runner, Amber’s Crown, as well as the suitably sleek Black Jag both of whom scored ultra impressive debut win’s at the Gold Coast from their only starts to date.

Stirring Emotion was having her fourth race start today but was destined to breakthrough after a succession of close placings in recent weeks.

Having earned a cheque at every start Excite’s filly, Stirring Emotion has all but repaid her purchase price with a very promising first preparation in what is proving a very promising first crop from Vinery’s Gr.1 winning juvenile.

Winner of the AJC Champagne Stakes, Excites has been afforded every opportunity to succeed in the stallion barn covering an increasing book of over 100 mares in each his opening three season’s.  Excite’s is the only sire son of leading sire Danewin is the elder half brother to Stakes winner’s and young stallion’s Duporth & Tickets.

Excite’s sole representative at this week’s Magic Millions Perth Sale is sure to attract plenty of attention being a half brother to Testa Rossa’s, Edward Manifold Stakes winner, Sistine Angel.  The Excites colt, Lot 382, goes through the Magic Millions ring on Friday and is one of only a handful of opportunities to inspect Excites yearling’s at Sale’s in the coming month.

Looking ahead to the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale where Excite’s first crop yearling’s realised up to $100,000 last year, Excite’s will be represented by a quality filly out of an Encosta De Lago mare from the family of Alcove (AJC Oaks, STC Ansett Australia Stks).
