BIG Brown has already established himself at home as one of the most promising young sires in North America, now the Europeans are getting a taste of his success.

U.S born and bred colt Sanador (Big Brown – Sugar Plum S.J.R) proved too good for his rivals in Sweden in an 1200m race set aside for two-year-olds run this morning.

The colt took Big Brown’s tally of winners from his first crop to 11 including the stakeswinner and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile hopeful, Brown Almighty.

Big Brown’s Scandinavian winner is judged to be serious horse by both his rider Espen Ski and trainer Ole Larsen who won three Swedish Derby’s in his time in the saddle.

“(Sanador) is a promising horse and it feels to me that there is a lot in this two-year-old,” jockey Ski said.

Sanador is the fourth foal out of Point Given mare by Sugar Plum S.J.R who is a half sister to Gr.2 winner Scottish Halo and Gr.2 placed, Pawyne Princess.
