PROMISING Dubleo three-year-old Skateboard lived up to his encouraging barrier trial efforts with a dazzling 7-len debut win at Goulburn today.
The Guy Walter trained gelding made light work of stablemate Kansjke posting the slick time of 57.21 seconds for the 1000m scamper.
Skateboard is the 21st individual winner stemming from Dubleo’s first Australian crop which also includes recent stakeswinner, Dubleanny.
Skateboard is a half-brother to Hot ‘n’ Ready (by More Than Ready) who won the Listed AJC P.J. Bell Handicap (1200m).
He was bought by Jamie Walter’s Proven Thoroughbreds for $42,500 at the 2008 Magic Millions Yearling sale on the Gold Coast.
