MORE Than Ready filly Dreamaway tightened her grip on the Group 3 WATC Oaks (2400m) after another dominant win in last Saturday’s Listed WATC Natasha Stakes (2200m) at Ascot.               Fascinatin’ Rhythm wins another Stakes race in the U.S.

Despite drawing barrier 15 in the 16-horse field, Dreamaway was able to slot into fourth position making a swift and decisive move at the top of the straight.
From there, the issue was never in doubt for the favourite who powered through the line to win by 2.5-lens ahead of stablemate Moonlight Bay and Why She Left in third.

Dreamaway has established herself as the leading filly in the west with successive wins in the Group 3 WATC W.A. Fillies Championship (1600m), the Listed WATC Ascot 1000 Guineas (1800m) and now the Natasha Stakes.

Dreamaway is the latest exponent of the fabulous More Than Ready/Danehill mare nick which has so far produced Group One winners, Benicio and NZ’s Leading First Season Sire Perfectly Ready.

More Than Ready’s weekend got better with more black-type success in the U.S when 6YO mare Fascinatin’ Rhythm scored a 4.25-lengths victory in the US$75,000 Listed Conniver Stakes (7 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Laurel Park in Maryland.

Ridden by Forest Boyce, Fascinatin’ Rhythm confortably dispatched fellow 6YO mare Sweet Goodbye & Miss Charm City.  The Richard Small trained, Fascinatin’ Rhythm took her record to 7 wins (3 sw’s) & 11 placings (6 s/pl) from 28 starts for US$296,823 earnings.
