MYBOYCHARLIE’S rollicking start to the New Year continues unabated with the Vinery resident locking in a double at Mornington on Monday.

First cab off the rank yesterday was the Mick Kent trained Mysonharry who came from last early to bag the Window Warehouse Maiden Plate (1525m).

Soon after, the reigning Adelaide Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Charles In Charge recorded his second straight victory when he took out the Mitavite Summer Challenge Heat 6 over the same distance.

Myboycharlie has been churning out the winners this month highlighted by Peggy Jean, the Gerald Ryan trained filly who won the $250,000 Inglis Classic (1200m) at Randwick on Jan 18.

That same day over New Zealand, Myboycharlie’s Group 2 placed Charlestown won at Trentham.

Myboycharlie’s racetrack success has been reciprocated in the sale ring with multiple six-figure yearlings sold at the Magic Millions and in Sydney at the Classic.
