GROUP 1 winning mare Dreamaway makes her much anticipated return to the track tomorrow on WA’s biggest day of racing featuring the $1m WATC Railway Stakes (1600m) and Winterbottom Stakes won two of the last three years by Testa Rossa mare, Ortensia.

Dreamaway rose to prominence during a spectacular 3YO autumn campaign which saw her win five stakes races on the trot highlighted by a rare WATC Oaks/Derby double.

The More Than Ready mare had little luck in some major races when she travelled to Melbourne to tackle the Rupert Clarke and Toorak Handicap after that.

Dreamaway resumes in Saturday’s Listed WATC Carbine Club of W.AS Stakes over 1400m.

Meanwhile, More Than Ready debutant Ready Cuz is scheduled to take part in the $200,000 Magic Millions Clockwise Classic (1000m) at Ballarat on Sunday.

As the race name suggests, the field of 12 will gallop in the reverse direction in what promises to be an unusual and fascinating spectacle.

Ready Cuz is out of the Blue Diamond Preview placegetter Familial (by Encosta De Lago).
